Guards rushed in to find Charmion, a maid, adjusting the dead Cleopatra’s crown. “Was this well done of your lady,Charmion?” a guard demanded. “Extremely well,” replied Charmion as she too fell over dead. Cleopatra is one of the most famous queens in history. Her fascinating tale has all the intriguing elements of a timeless, great story. With elements such as : Jealousy, beauty, power, love affairs, murder, and mystery its no wonder the story of this captivating queen holds such a level of fascination in the world today.

HEY AS YOU ALL KNOW I PICKED " WHY WAS AND STILL IS CLEOPATRA SO FASCINATING", AS MY TOPIC. I STARTED OFF WITH ASTROLOGY BUT I THOUGHT IT WOULD TAKE FOREVER TO RESEARCH ALL THAT INFORMATION. SO THEN I CHANGED IT TO MYTHOLOGY, BUT AS YOU CAN SEE THAT DIDN'T WORK OUT. MYTHOLOGY WAS TOO BROAD OF A SUBJECT. WELL I GUESS I COULD'VE PICKED ONE OF THE "GODS OR GODESSES" SUCH AS ATHENA, ZUES, AFRODITE,HERA, OR ONE OF THE MANY OTHER ONES. BUT WHILE LOOKING UP INFO ON MYTHOLOGY I SOME HOW CAME ACROSS A SITE FOR CLEOPATRA, DONT ASK I DONT KNOW HOW IT HAPPENED, THE LEGENDARY QUEEN SOUNDED INTERESTING TO ME PLUS I ALREADY KNEW SOME THINGS ABOUT HER. IT TOOK ME A WHILE TO NARROW DOWN THAT TOPIC AS WELL. I COULDN'T SEEM TO THINK OF A SPECIFIC QUESTION. THEN IT HIT ME ......I THOUGHT CLEOPATRA WAS FASCINATING AND I KNOW ALOT OF PEOPLE WHO DO BUT THE QUESTION IS WHY. THEN I STARTED FINDING ALL THIS INFORMATION ON HER FROM HER BIRTH TO WHEN SHE DIED.THIS TOPIC IS TURNING OUT REALLY WELL FOR ME. I DONT THINK I WILL HAVE TO MAKE ANY CHANGES. I BELIEVE I CAN START WRITING NOW. I have decided that my topic is "Why was Cleopatra such a fascinating person"? Cleopatra is known as the most beautiful and charismatic women in history. Not to mention the last pharoh of Egypt. She seemed to be the perfect topic. What made her such an enigma? How did she become the most famous Queen known in history.i guess this is what i have to look forward to finding out. I'm not really sure what to do my research project on. I know i should know by now but i really dont. I wonder about alot of stuff...like why people do what they do and how people came up with the words we say now,but thats nothing i want to research. i started off with a really good question but i felt it was to personal so i decided to change it. so i wanted to research greek mythology.But you know wut i dont know what about greek mythology i wanted to know i mean i have to narrow it down. then i thought about Cleopatra and her role of the egyptian queen but i'm not sure. so now i'm just stuck i dont know. As u can tell i like learning about other places and cultures etc. i just dont know what about them i wanna know about.
